How to Install Sirius Radio in Chevy Silverado

Simply replace your radio ACM module and choose between two of our quality satellite radio antenna kits.
Hard Mount - This antenna is a 100% factory OEM GM® part. It is designed to be installed on the Silverado or Sierra roof top. Simply remove your existing OnStar antenna and replace it. Route the wiring to the radio ACM module.
Magnetic Mount - This high-quality aftermarket antenna magnetically installs on the exterior of any GM vehicle. Route the wiring to the radio ACM module.
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY
Designed for vehicles with the IOR option code. To determine if your vehicle has the IOR option code simply put your smartphone into the photo taking mode, hover over the VIN sticker QR code, when you notice a pop-up click-hold-drag in a downward motion.

INSTALLATION
Installation of this product would be rated a 3 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult.
Hard Mount Install - Designed for Silverado & Sierra Trucks Only -Simply remove your existing antenna located on the roof held in place with a single 10mm bolt. Route the wiring loom to the radio ACM module location. Swap modules and install the antenna connector to the curry/yellow FAKRA connector.
Magnetic Mount Install - Refer to basic install instructions below. CLICK HERE for additional help determining how and where to install your magnetic satellite radio antenna.
THINGS TO KNOW
- This upgrade is designed for vehicles with an existing 8-inch radio display (Option code "UIJ") If your base-model work truck features a 7-inch radio display (Option code "UIR") please lets us know so we can program the IOR module specifically for your radio display.
- Although the factory antenna listed above is designed for the Silverado & Sierra, find alternate part numbers in textured black color listed below which can be special ordered from your local GM dealer. Please note, additional wiring may be necessary to connect the SiriusXM cable to the radio module.
